Trial period fixed

Hi.

Just downloaded your K27 trial version. Installs OK, but on first run, says "Trial period has expired" so I can't use it.

I've tried this on three different computers on entirely separate networks with the same result - separate downloads.

Sorry,

Our date calculation to add 30 days to the current date failed because this is the first day of the last month of the year.

We will post a new version in about 3 hours.

Yep. It seems that every time we write code fo try to manipulate dates, we mess up. (Or at least every year, every 4 years or every 100 years)

You would think we would be smart enough when using code like "add one to the month", we would say "and if the month is greater than 12, add one to the year", (and perhaps if the year is greater tha 9999, add one to ???)

I sure wish that years had a nice number of days in a year - like 360, or even better 100 or 1,000. And that all the months had the same number of days. When we reinvent the universe lets change the orbit of the earth, or the spin speed. :D

But, it is easy to mess up the code which adds a numbers of days to the current day.

There is a new version fix fixes the trial period problems for anyone who downloaded their first trial copy earlier today (Dec 1, 2006).
