Dimensioning Data

Our company is working on a project to create interactive product sheets of our products. The last version did not export the dimensioning data out of Sketchup. Does the new version do this? It would be very important for us, as we need to communicate specific dimensions for our products.

We currently do not know how to export text or dimension data to the Adobe 3D format. (The format is designed for 3D data, not lines or text, but we may find a way to "stroke" the text into a 3D object of some sort)

In the current version, you could place an image in the SketchUp model with dimensioning on it.

However, we also do not know how to support "always face camera" in Adobe 3D PDF, so the image would not always face the user.

We will continue to try to figure this out, but at the current time, we have no solution for you.
