I am pleased to announce that RPS 3D PDF works quite well with Adobe Acrobat 3D. So even if you own Acrobat 3D, it makes sense to purchase RPS 3D PDF as well.
1. RPS 3D PDF is much easier to use to create simple documents. Create them in RPS 3D PDF and then add special features in Acrobat.
2. RPS 3D PDF lets you place text and a background image into your 3D PDF file when you first make. The 3D PDF image, text, etc. can all then be edited in Acrobat.
3. RPS 3D PDF will extract all your SketchUp View pages and import them into Acrobat as views.
Remember - you do not need to own Acrobat to use RPS 3D PDF - it works quite well on its own! But they do make a good combination together as well.
Note: If you have experience using Acrobat to make 3D models from SketchUp, go ahead and add comments to this thread.
