launching from SU launches old version

Howdy,

When I try to launch from within SU it launches the old version of 3dpdf and not the most current ( 1.0G11 )

It shows B29 on the exporter, but should show G11 on the PDF layout dialog after it exports the model. (Because the exporter itself hasn't changed.)

We will fix this for the next version to get the version numbers synchronized properly.

Is that what happens for you, or does a different version appear after it exports the model?

Morning Al .. yep shows the B9 and actually calls the old B9 version ( the one that doesn't handle the lines / smoothing as well as the new version )

Look in your "C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 6\Exporters" folder.

The correct DLL should be called: SkpTo3DPDF.dll and dated Feb 29th.

If you have another DLL (perhaps RPS_SkpToPDF.dll) dated Feb 9th, remove it.

If your DLL called SkpTo3DPDF.dll has an older date, remove it and it should reappear when you reinstall 3D PDF.

Nope ..

I found the skpto3dpdf.dll file but was dated 2/19 so I deleted it and did a re-install.

1. it reinstalled the same dll

2. When I select export from SU .. the only option shown there is

RPS 3D PDF version B19

I installed the latest version and got that date as well:

02/19/2007 03:45 PM 679,936 SkpTo3DPDF.dll

Rich is working on a new version, so lets wait a week or so.
