I have Acrobat 8.1 already installed, but it opens always automatically
version 6.0 (full version reading and writing)

You have two Adobe products on your machine:
Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and Adobe Acrobat 8.1
Acrobat 6.0 is :registered" with the extension .PDF
You can register 8.1 by:
Open Windows explorer
Naviagate to a PDF file
Right click on the PDF file and select "Open With"
Choose "Choose Program"
Select the desired version of Adobe Reader
Check "Always use the selected program to open this type of file"
