hope you don't mind asking a couple of questions about the 3D PDF software recently purchased from you.

In the Options there is a facility to constrain the camera above model base only. This doesn't seem to have the desired effect, as in the viewer the model can be seen from underneath as well.

In terms of printing, is there a way of preventing people from printing any view they like from the model? This would be a nice feature if it were possible.

Is there a way of turnign off the layer control that appears to export with the file automatically?

I showed the 3D PDF model to someone for the first time the other day and the first thing the managed to do was double click everything and so that everthing went into Red Boxes. People will find a way of breaking something. If this can be prevented from happening in the options that would be benefical as well.

The Adobe U3D interface which we use is cumbersome and difficult for us to use. Adobe will not be making any future improvements to it, so we are somewhat limited in what we can accomplish.

571I see that the constrain camera option works for orbit and pan but not for spin. Adobe may have added this spin icon after we last updated RPS 3D PDF. We will see if we can get it to work in the next version.

No we cannot prevent people from printing the document. Even if this were possible in PDF, a user can always click Prnt Scrn and print whatever is on the screen.

I can't remember why we do layers by material, rather than SketchUp layers. I think it is because we have to organize the data this way to get the PDF to work.

Also, we do not know how to turn off the PDF selection logic - which causes selected items to turn red.

We will consider some of these things for a future version.
