Looking for a product that can modify or hide document properties. When I go to the description tab, there is a line for “application” that I want to either hide or modify. checked on line and foudn 1 or 2 apps, but they either dont address the application line tag or they don't even work.
thanks,
Larry
we will be able to let you override anything referring to RPS 3D PDF or Render Plus from the PDF Document Properties.
However, Rich is leaving for vacation today, so you may have to wait two weeks to get it.
In the meantime, if you do not own Adobe Acrobat, you can probably download the 30-day trial version and see if it will let you load the PDF we create and change the document properties.
Also, If you are very careful, you may be able to load the PDF file into Windows NotePad, and replace RPS 3D PDF with ---------- (make sure you use exactly the same number of characters), and resave the file. (This last may not be possible it the document properties are compressed into the PDF file - which is quite possible - Rich know more about this than I do - but lets let him enjoy his vacation)

you mean Rich's vacation is more important then helping a loyal customer <vbg>. Guess I'll have to wait the 2 weeks. I do have a full version of acrobat, doesn't allow the change. Tried two pieces of add-on software that claim to allow changes to properties - doesn't seem to access the "applciation property"
I tried the notepad trick - but it didn't work.
I was able to change the characters, and keep the file size the same, but I couldn't load the new PDF
